WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?  

We ship daily Mon-Fri from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are sent with next-day delivery via NZ Post Courier Post. Delivery to rural locations may occasionally take longer.

WHEN EXACTLY WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

If you order before 2.00pm Mon-Fri we will dispatch that day. If you order on the weekend or after 2.00pm on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping on orders valued $90 or more are free! Shipping on orders valued under $90 is $7.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

All orders ship from Westgate, Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are shipped with NZ Post Courier Post.

Returns

You must contact us before returning any item for any reason. We will refuse any package returned to us that does not have a properly issued return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package.

An RMA number may be obtained by emailing support@earjobs.co.nz. Our customer service staff is available to help you Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm AET.

Unless otherwise specified in the item description, within 30 days of the date the product is shipped to you, you may return any item other than the following:

* any item designated as a "trial pack"
* opened packages of ear plugs
* opened packages of earphones
* items sold as "B" Stock (including open box, customer returns, or discontinued items.)

A refund of the full purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee, will be issued within 30 days, provided that the item is in like new, sellable condition with all original packaging materials. Returned items will be inspected by quality control before a refund is approved. Any items not meeting the requirements for a refund will be discarded or returned to the customer at customer's expense.

For defective products, we will honour the manufacturer's warranty period. See the internal documentation of your product for warranty information.

Your refund will be posted to the credit card used to make the purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned merchandise. Although we generally post return credits much more quickly than that, please allow up to 14 days.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Calmer, follow these cleaning and maintenance guidelines.

Regular Cleaning

  • After each use, gently remove Calmer from your ears using the stem.
  • Rinse Calmer with warm water and mild soap.
  • Use a soft cloth or towel to dry Calmer thoroughly before storage.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

  • Please do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean Calmer, as they may damage the material.
  • Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners, bleach, or abrasive cleaning agents.

Storage

  • Store Calmer in the provided case or a clean, dry container.
  • Avoid exposing Calmer to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or excessive humidity.

Deep Cleaning

  • You can use a non-alcoholic, silicone-safe cleaning solution for a deeper clean.
  • Follow the manufacturer's cleaning solution instructions and rinse thoroughly with water afterwards.

Ear Hygiene

  • Prioritise good ear hygiene by keeping your ears clean and dry before using Calmer.
  • Avoid using Calmer if you have any open wounds, infections, or skin conditions in the ear.

Inspection

  • Regularly inspect Calmer for any signs of damage, such as cracks, tears, or deformation.
  • If you notice any damage, discontinue using Calmer and contact our customer support for assistance.

Instructions

  • Calmer has a stem and an exhaust.
  • Always hold Calmer by the stem.
  • Ensure the logo is against your ear when fitting Calmer into your ear.
  • Don't push too hard when fitting Calmer, and always make sure the stem is easily reachable.
  • Use the stem grip on the body to remove Calmer.

    What the heck, I'm in love.

    Why did I um and ah about this for so long ? I've worn these for the afternoon at work, as soon as they arrived I stuck them in. Took the edge off the noise and I felt relaxed. I get quite anxious with noises and my mind won't shut up, but this afternoon... wow. Get them if you are sensitive to sounds.

    Saves my sanity

    I suffer from misophonia, the sound of my husband eating drives me mad. With the Flare Calmer I can still hear everything around me, but it takes the edge off enough that I'm not tempted to k*ll him. The metal storage capsule is great too, easy to put on a chain or lanyard if need be.

    I suffer from hypersensitivity to higher-pitched noises including some music, children, and high female voices.

    Such a relief!!

    I ordered my flares because I’ve been getting an intermittent screeching sound in one of my ears related to genetic medical issues which have caused damage to my eardrums and play havoc with the pressure in my ears. My flares have helped immensely with this as it’s not only a noise but can be painful as well.
