WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?  

We ship daily Mon-Fri from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are sent with next-day delivery via NZ Post Courier Post. Delivery to rural locations may occasionally take longer.

WHEN EXACTLY WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

If you order before 2.00pm Mon-Fri we will dispatch that day. If you order on the weekend or after 2.00pm on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping on orders valued $90 or more are free! Shipping on orders valued under $90 is $7.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

All orders ship from Westgate, Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are shipped with NZ Post Courier Post.

Returns

You must contact us before returning any item for any reason. We will refuse any package returned to us that does not have a properly issued return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package.

An RMA number may be obtained by emailing support@earjobs.co.nz. Our customer service staff is available to help you Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm AET.

Unless otherwise specified in the item description, within 30 days of the date the product is shipped to you, you may return any item other than the following:

* any item designated as a "trial pack"
* opened packages of ear plugs
* opened packages of earphones
* items sold as "B" Stock (including open box, customer returns, or discontinued items.)

A refund of the full purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee, will be issued within 30 days, provided that the item is in like new, sellable condition with all original packaging materials. Returned items will be inspected by quality control before a refund is approved. Any items not meeting the requirements for a refund will be discarded or returned to the customer at customer's expense.

For defective products, we will honour the manufacturer's warranty period. See the internal documentation of your product for warranty information.

Your refund will be posted to the credit card used to make the purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned merchandise. Although we generally post return credits much more quickly than that, please allow up to 14 days.

Description

MotoSafe Race: the ideal earplugs for riding on the motorway, race track riding or with an open-face helmet. MotoSafe earplugs muffle harmful noises without making you feel disconnected from your surroundings. Other traffic, the navigation system, the intercom and the engine itself all remain clearly audible thanks to the innovative AlpineAcousticFilters™. This special racing version of the MotoSafe earplugs has a high attenuation of 20 dB (SNR) and protects your hearing during your ride.

RELAXED MOTORCYCLING

Ride your motorcycle even more relaxed now! With Alpine MotoSafe earplugs you never have ringing in your ears after a long ride. You prevent hearing damage and feelings of fatigue from wind noise. Did you know that at a speed of 120 kilometres per hour on average, the volume is 98 decibels? This means that already after 7 minutes you risk permanent hearing damage. In addition, you become tired faster due to the loud noise. This means that you ride with less concentration. For this reason, we have developed very comfortable ear protectors. For every type of motorcyclist.

SNR 20

An SNR of 20 means that the hearing protection is estimated to reduce noise levels by an average of 20 decibels across various frequencies.

'SNR' in hearing protection stands for 'Single Number Rating,' which is a single value used to indicate the average level of noise reduction a hearing protection device provides across different frequencies, essentially telling you how much sound attenuation the earplugs or earmuffs will offer when worn correctly; the higher the SNR value, the greater the noise reduction level is considered to be.

SNR is primarily used as a rating system in Europe, while North America often uses 'NRR' (Noise Reduction Rating) and Australia/New Zealand use 'SLC80'; which both differ slightly in calculation.

Product Care

  • We recommend to clean your Alpine earplugs with lukewarm water and soap or using the disinfecting Alpine Clean cleaning spray.
  • After washing, dry the earplugs with a dishcloth or tissue. The earplugs are immediately ready for use after drying.
  • Alpine earplugs can be worn over 100 times with regular cleaning.

Instructions

Pull your ear up slightly. Place the earplugs in your ear canal and press in until they are comfortable and secure. Once the earplugs are properly placed, you can put on your helmet. At the end of the earplug is a mini-grip, which you can use to easily pull the earplug out of your ear.

    Finally something that fits and works

    I have tried heaps of different earplugs and never found one that would create a proper seal - perhaps I have odd shaped ear canals or something. A friend recommended these so I grabbed some. Once I found the right angle these fit perfectly. I use them on my motorbike and the reduction in wind noise is brilliant plus I can still hear music through the Cardo. Definitely recommend.

    Best motorcycle earplugs

    Great earplugs.

    Tried the Tour version and they performed pretty poorly so was hesistant to try these but these turned out to be the best motorcycle earplugs I've used. I had the pinlock branded earplugs before this and thought those were good but this is even better.

    Music, voices and exhaust come through well but harsh wind noise is dampened a good amount. Strikes a good balance.

    Comfortable, easy to use, and easy to get a good seal all the time.

    The carry pouch is of good quality and handy

    Only negative is that they're white in colour and needs a good cleaning pretty much after every ride. Ymmv

    Will definitely get these again.
