WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?  

We ship daily Mon-Fri from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are sent with next-day delivery via NZ Post Courier Post. Delivery to rural locations may occasionally take longer.

WHEN EXACTLY WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

If you order before 2.00pm Mon-Fri we will dispatch that day. If you order on the weekend or after 2.00pm on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping on orders valued $90 or more are free! Shipping on orders valued under $90 is $7.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

All orders ship from Westgate, Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are shipped with NZ Post Courier Post.

Returns

You must contact us before returning any item for any reason. We will refuse any package returned to us that does not have a properly issued return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package.

An RMA number may be obtained by emailing support@earjobs.co.nz. Our customer service staff is available to help you Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm AET.

Unless otherwise specified in the item description, within 30 days of the date the product is shipped to you, you may return any item other than the following:

* any item designated as a "trial pack"
* opened packages of ear plugs
* opened packages of earphones
* items sold as "B" Stock (including open box, customer returns, or discontinued items.)

A refund of the full purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee, will be issued within 30 days, provided that the item is in like new, sellable condition with all original packaging materials. Returned items will be inspected by quality control before a refund is approved. Any items not meeting the requirements for a refund will be discarded or returned to the customer at customer's expense.

For defective products, we will honour the manufacturer's warranty period. See the internal documentation of your product for warranty information.

Your refund will be posted to the credit card used to make the purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned merchandise. Although we generally post return credits much more quickly than that, please allow up to 14 days.

Description

The Plugfones Mercenary Ear Muffs are the introductory over-the-ear product from Plugfones. The Mercenary comes equipped with a unique gel-pad cover that aids to reduce heat and help keep you cool during extended use.

These Ear Muffs feature a NRR rating of 24 which allows for confident ear protection in loud environments. Like our other Plugfones models, these are bluetooth equipped for media consumption or to take phone calls. Tactile buttons make adjusting settings easily done even while wearing gloves. The multifunction button allows you to switch between bluetooth, ambient listening mode, and enhanced ambient listening mode for complete control in any situation.

The AMP/De-AMP mode might be the most impressive feature on the Mercenary, if you are in a loud environment the de-AMP microphone will detect that ambient sound and lower the volume, if someone in that loud environment were to walk up and speak to you the AMP microphone will detect that and raise their vocal volume for you to hear them as if you weren’t wearing ear muffs at all.

The boom mic has been ergonomically placed for ideal sound capture allowing others to hear you clearly, if you don’t need the mic you are able to toggle it upwards to keep it out of the way.

    Almost unacceptable latency. Delays by one to two seconds even on 5G with solid signal when connected to Bluetooth. It would be helpful if there were an aux cable that could be used in times when the latency is increased.
