WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?  

We ship daily Mon-Fri from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are sent with next-day delivery via NZ Post Courier Post. Delivery to rural locations may occasionally take longer.

WHEN EXACTLY WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

If you order before 2.00pm Mon-Fri we will dispatch that day. If you order on the weekend or after 2.00pm on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping on orders valued $90 or more are free! Shipping on orders valued under $90 is $7.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

All orders ship from Westgate, Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are shipped with NZ Post Courier Post.

Returns

You must contact us before returning any item for any reason. We will refuse any package returned to us that does not have a properly issued return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package.

An RMA number may be obtained by emailing support@earjobs.co.nz. Our customer service staff is available to help you Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm AET.

Unless otherwise specified in the item description, within 30 days of the date the product is shipped to you, you may return any item other than the following:

* any item designated as a "trial pack"
* opened packages of ear plugs
* opened packages of earphones
* items sold as "B" Stock (including open box, customer returns, or discontinued items.)

A refund of the full purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee, will be issued within 30 days, provided that the item is in like new, sellable condition with all original packaging materials. Returned items will be inspected by quality control before a refund is approved. Any items not meeting the requirements for a refund will be discarded or returned to the customer at customer's expense.

For defective products, we will honour the manufacturer's warranty period. See the internal documentation of your product for warranty information.

Your refund will be posted to the credit card used to make the purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned merchandise. Although we generally post return credits much more quickly than that, please allow up to 14 days.

Description

LectroFan® Digital Fan and White Noise Machine is like no ordinary white noise machine. With ordinary mechanical white noise machines, you get just one sound, with perhaps one or two different volume levels. With ordinary electronic white noise machines, you get a wider range of sounds, but most are just prerecorded sound loops that play over and over. Especially on inexpensive electronic white noise machines, the looping can become as irritating as the noises you are trying to mask. LectroFan® Digital Fan and White Noise Machine is different. LectroFan® produces the fan sound you love using a digital sound generator instead of recorded sound loops, so there is no repetitive looping to interfere with your deep and restorative sleep.

LectroFan® includes ten different fan sounds so that you can again sleep to the sound of your old favorite, whether a box fan or an oscillating fan you once used, or one of 8 more, without the uncomfortable draft the fan caused. In addition, LectroFan® offers you a choice of 10 different digitally generated white noise sounds you can use if you prefer. All of these sounds are digitally produced with no looped recordings so there are never any sound artifacts that can interfere with your sleep.

LectroFan® is made to do one job; help you sleep by adding a soothing masking sound to your bedroom that will help you sleep more soundly with less waking to noises in the night, so you wake refreshed and ready to meet the new day.

LectroFan® controls are simple and easy to use, including two sound settings; one for fan sounds and one for white noise sounds. Simply press repeatedly to rotate through all ten of each kind of sound and stop when you find the one you want. Adjust the volume with a rocker button. Push repeatedly to increase or decrease the volume, or just hold until you reach the volume level you want. Power the unit on with a button push, or power on with the sleep timer to automatically set the LectroFan® to turn off after 60 minutes.

LectroFan® is small so it fits on any bedside table or shelf, at approximately 10cm across and 5cm high. LectroFan® is powered by a USB plug that can be plugged into a laptop or other computer or into the provided wall adapter. With all these power options, LectroFan® is the ideal travel sound machine.

Getting Started

  • Unpack the box, which contains:
  • LectroFan unit
  • USB cable
  • AC power adapter
  • Owner’s manual

Powering On/Off

  • Plug the USB cable into the power adapter and then into the LectroFan.
  • Plug the power adapter into an AC wall outlet.
  • Press the Power button to turn the device on or off.

Selecting Sounds

  • Press the Fan Sounds button to cycle through 10 different fan sounds.
  • Press the White Noise button to cycle through 10 variations of white noise, including pink and brown noise.
  • The device will remember the last used setting when switching between fan and white noise.

Adjusting Volume

  • Press the Volume Up or Volume Down button to adjust the sound level.

Setting the Timer

  • Press the Timer button once to set the device to play for 60 minutes.
  • Each additional press adds 60 minutes to the playtime.
  • A brief dip in sound will confirm each press of the timer button.

Restoring Factory Settings

  • Turn off the LectroFan.
  • Press and hold the Power button until a rising tone ("whoop" sound) is heard.
  • This will reset the device to factory settings.

Using an External Timer or Power Strip

  • If using an external power timer, turn the LectroFan off and then back on using the Power button to retain settings.
