I got these to replace my aging Alpine Music safe pro plugs.

Pros: block out nearly all of the noise & really lightweight

Cons: have a tendency to fall out during the night + not the comfiest for a side sleeper

Since the main purpose was to help me get to sleep they do work however the cons stop me from giving them a perfect 5

These are amazing for most traffic noise, I found. Like other side sleepers reviewing these, I too experienced a little bit of pain by the morning, though they were always quite comfortable while going to sleep. I tried different things like using the smallest tip on the outer facing end, and no outer facing tip at all. Neither made it much better. I was going to ask for my money back, but in the process saw a suggestion on the Earjobs website to only insert an earplug as much as needed to fit securely and reduce volume rather than as far as it will go. This seemed to be the problem. I tried that and they were fine. So I'm very happy with the product. My only criticism, as mentioned to the customer service person, is that the information that helped me did not come with the product and, if it had, could have saved me and other people some frustration.

So good so far. They are comfy and totally block any noise, these are the best by far.

At first I thought these were going to be just like your cheap foam ear plugs when I saw them and worried I’d wasted my money. But they do a much better job and they stay in. I can’t have a normal conversation with them when using them. I have a newborn so sleeping now is much easier!

They do dull, but don’t completely block out the noise. They do hurt my ears if I leave them in during the night
