TECHNOLOGY
Calmer reduces resonance (distortion) by using a tiny waveguide to reflect sound into our ear which bypasses the effect of the Concha.
The Calmer Night edition is specifically designed to further reduce this resonance for sleeping.

What does it do?
Irritating noises such as mobile notifications, baby cries, car horns, dogs barking or noisy neighbours will no longer have a sharp edge to them. You can still hear every sound but the unpleasant or harsh tones will be reduced.
Calmer Night is not an earplug so you will still be able to hear what’s around you. However regular jolting or annoying noises should not cause additional stress in the middle of the night.
Other benefits
After a period of use you may start to feel more relaxed during the day. Your sleep pattern may be less interrupted due to trigger noises being reduced that would usually wake you.
If you wear them in the evenings, your body language may adjust to be less tense and things that would usually stress you may not feel as irritating.

I bought these as I am very sensitive to sound, especially at nighttime. I've always struggled to find earplugs due to having small ears, so the mini size were absolutely perfect.
They're much softer than the Calmer Pro, and while they aren't as effective as the Pros, they definitely take the edge off nighttime sounds, making it a bit easier for me to fall to sleep. It's also great for when I'm healing a new piercing and can't risk using noise cancelling headphones, as that causes a fair amount of irritation.
In terms of care, I wash them after every 1-2 uses, but I'd say it depends on how much earwax you build up. I just rinse them in water, pat it dry with a tissue, and if there's any wax stuck in there I gently pat it with a wet cotton bud.
Overall I'm really happy with my purchase, and if you're looking for something that takes away the harshness of sounds, this would be perfect.

I am mildly autistic and have trouble with auditory processing and overstimulation. Genuinely made an immediate difference. All the gross metallic buzz and harshness from fans, ac, traffic, fridge etc. is gone. I am so excited to see how these impact quality of life longer term!
